Thanks for reading this quick update. Read on for details on how to win $100 in gear from SoccerFanatic.com in our first-ever FCearth T-shirt Design Competition.  Please join in the fun and pass it along to your soccer friends!

Here's some stuff we've been working on:

  • Launching a new version of our site, FCearth
  • Playing soccer and gaining members; we now have over 100 at our (free) social site www.WeAreFCearth.com , which we use to organize pickups games and other soccer events.  Please ask your friends to join and use it to organize games where you live, and anything else!
  • Writing a guide on How to Use WeAreFCearth
  • Publishing a free ebook, How to Change the World by Playing Soccer
  • Bloggin' about soccer + cultural stuff
  • Selling the First Edition FCearth t-shirt .  $5 of it goes to the first Urban Gear Drop.
  • Starting our Facebook page and our Twitter account
  • Planning our official launch on August 15- including a new piece of gear, an eco-friendly zip-up
  • Planning "National World Cup Day;" organizing tournaments of that timeless post-practice game, World Cup, in as many cities as we can, on August 15.  (World Cup is basically a single-knockout 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 vs. 2 etc. scrum in front of single goal with one poor all-time goalie.)

Finally, we're launching our first FCearth Design Contest to design the next FCearth t-shirt.  All the details are here.  The winning designer gets $100 in soccer gear from SoccerFanatic.com, and the design will become our next t-shirt.  Get your designs in to Adam!

Thanks for reading.  We always love to hear from ya'll so drop us a line anytime.
